Real Madrid defender Cesc Fabregas admits his team’s lack of tactical acumen is to blame for defeat to Juventus

Cesc Agüero admits his side are not as disciplined as their rivals, despite scoring twice to help Real Madrid avoid defeat at Juventus on Sunday.

The Real Madrid ace said he was not happy with his team selection after failing to prevent the hosts from beating Juventus 3-1.

“The team was not really in control and we were a little bit lacking in some tactical points,” Fabregassa said.

“I think it was the first time this season that we had a bad result in the derby.”

But the result was important because we are in the last three games and we have to have a good result against the champions.

“The Madrid defender had only three shots on target and did not make a single save as the hosts dominated possession for most of the game.

Fabregas admitted he was “a little bit nervous” after his side’s 2-1 loss at the Bernabeu on Saturday, but said he is ready to learn from the game if necessary.”

But in general, I am happy with the way we played and we will have to learn a lot from the match.”
