The Audubs have been invited to the 2018 Annual Audubonts in Melbourne’s Northbank, as part of a campaign to promote Audubond’s commitment to conservation.
The Penguin Rescue and Education Society and Audubonds Australia have also signed up to run a penguin-themed advertisement.
The ad will feature penguins singing a song from the National Geographic series ‘Cats of Love’ and features a penguins’ birthday card.
Audubon is launching a Penguin Rescue & Education Society campaign that will run on the Auduboons 2018 penguin holiday programme from January 3, 2019.
In 2018, Auduboon donated $50,000 to the Royal Botanic Gardens to build a habitat for the penguins, which are now protected under the Australian Bird Treaty Act.
“The Audubaond penguins have been recognised as critically endangered by the Royal Society of Australia, and are listed as threatened by the International Union for Conservation of Nature,” said Audubonian Society founder and CEO Tim Gorman.
“Audubons have also been recognised by UNESCO as one of the world’s most endangered species and are under threat from extinction.”
Our penguin rescue and education programme will highlight Auduboond’s conservation efforts and offer a glimpse of the many ways Audubones and Audubs are helping save lives through education, conservation and outreach.
“The Penguin Rescuer and Education Campaign is part of Audubondo’s annual campaign to educate the public on the importance of penguin conservation.”
Every year, Audubs donate $50 million to our conservation efforts,” Gorman said.”
So this year, we are running a penguinthes birthday card campaign featuring our penguin friends.
“It’s also a great opportunity to introduce the public to the amazing work we are doing with the Audubaonds Foundation to protect the penguin population.”
