A lot of people hate the label “liberal,” but it’s one they use a lot of times.
And now, the term “liberal” has been used as a synonym for white supremacy and a weapon to suppress the voices of marginalized groups.
It’s the term Trump and his allies have used to deflect criticism of their policies, and it’s a term they can use to justify their attacks.
The president’s critics have argued that the term is offensive to people of color, as well as the LGBTQ community, and that it implies that people of any race are less deserving of equality.
The term, they say, “refuses to acknowledge the reality of our own oppression and inequality.”
But as the country has witnessed in Charlottesville, Virginia, this week, the president’s defenders are also using it to silence those who disagree with them.
“If you don’t like me, don’t vote for me,” said one white supremacist, according to the Washington Post.
“I’ll tell you what, if you want to vote for someone who’s a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, and a bigot, I’ll gladly give you a ticket to the Klan,” said another, according a report from the New York Times.
And as people of Color, LGBTQ people, and other marginalized groups have been coming forward to call out the Trump administration for its racist policies, the use of the word “liberalism” to describe the policies of the president and his supporters has been widely used by people who do not support the president.
The word “Liberal” is used to describe people who are generally considered to be “progressives” or “progressivism.”
The term “progressivist” is an oxymoron.
In the 2016 election, “progress” was used as an insult by Hillary Clinton supporters and as an accusation against the Black Lives Matter movement.
This term, and the president who uses it, is being used as if it were a slur against marginalized groups and their voices.
This is a very dangerous moment.
It should be very clear to all of us that we are not “progressists,” but a collection of white supremacists and bigots who believe that all people are “less deserving of equal rights,” according to white nationalist Richard Spencer, who is one of Trump’s most ardent supporters.
In a video that has been shared widely on social media, Spencer says, “The word ‘liberal’ is a word that’s used to attack all of the people who aren’t like us.
It implies that we’re all in this race war, that we have this problem of inequality.”
The word, he says, is “so powerful that it makes white supremacy look so benign.”
He also argues that it is a “savage” slur, “not a compliment,” which makes the word the “perfect epithet” to use to insult those who aren: “The words ‘Liberal,’ ‘progressive,’ ‘progressivist’ are being used to silence the voices and the concerns of people of all colors and ethnicities and faiths.”
The Trump administration has used this term repeatedly to attack Black Lives Matters activists, and recently, White House Chief of Staff John Kelly said, “I think the word ‘Liberalism’ is used in the strongest, most racist way possible.
You know, they use the word all the time.
And the way it’s used is it’s the epithet, it’s not a compliment.”
“I hate the term ‘liberal,'” a young black woman named Tamiyah Boudin told the Washington Examiner.
“That’s not the word that I use.
I don’t even like the word.
And I think, ‘Well, maybe he shouldn’t use that because I don
